I used artwork from the official Canvas Curse site (Don't know if it is still up) as reference.
Man...I posted this thing almost 5 years ago and it's the picture with the most favs. I guess it just goes to show you how much attention you get from fan-art.
Looking back at this brings back a lot of memories...when Flash was shiny and new to me, I didn't give a damn about form or other important drawing skills...and now that I'm older and more experienced, I envy this past self.
Now I have to use form and proper posing and stuff...I've implemented these guidelines into how I draw things but there are those rare moments where I wish I didn't have all these rules chaining me down, y'know?
I'd like to thank all the people who have fav'd this picture, it means a lot to me (I prefer faves and comments than pageviews ANYDAY)
To all those beginning artists out there who are reading this, don't give up your dreams. But beware, the path you walk is one of tediousness and patience. They say it takes 10 years of practicing every day to become truly great at something. I don't think I'm even at the halfway point yet.
